In addition to complete business systems, Planet Telecommunications carry a wide range of devices and options which will help make your telephone system easier to use, as well as provide more informative services for your customers.
Some of these include:
Platinum MP - 3000 Advertising on Hold.
Are you breaking the law by playing music whilst your
customer is on hold?
If your telephone system has a facility allowing callers to listen to
music while they are “on hold” then you need to make sure that licences
from APRA and PPCA have been obtained. You need licences from both
organisations because both music and sound recordings are being
“communicated to the public” via the telephone system. It does not
matter whether the source of the music is the radio, TV or a recording.
Before March 2001, Telstra and other telecommunications carriers were
responsible for paying licence fees for music on hold, but because of a
change in the law, individuals and businesses who operate a telephone
system with a music-on-hold facility are now responsible for getting the
licences.

The MP 3000 is an inexpensive option to provide your customers with
information whilst they wait and not break the law!. Why not use the time your clients are on
hold to inform them of any special products or services which may be of
interest to them. The MP 3000 is a solid state memory device for messages on hold. The main advantage of the unit is your staff record the message. Rather than have to pay hundreds of dollars whenever you need to re-record your message you can simply do it yourself – every month, every week or even every day. And the beauty of the system is you only pay a once-off hardware cost.
Conference Handsets
With the cost of travel as it is, many companies now use high quality telephone conferencing handsets for meetings with regional or interstate offices. Boardroom conference units make this an inexpensive option. Ask us about the full range of both corded and fully portable units
